Seven Thinking Styles Self-Assessment

Self-Guided Assessment

The Seven Thinking Styles Assessment

Most professionals rely on two or three thinking styles by default. The other four are where the growth lives. This assessment reveals which styles you use, which you avoid, and where to develop next.

How does your brain naturally approach data and decisions?

This assessment maps your thinking patterns across seven styles. There are no right or wrong answers.

The Seven Thinking Styles are seven cognitive approaches that shape how people interpret data and make decisions: Analytical, Critical, Systemic, Creative, Collaborative, Ethical, and Adaptive.

Each is useful. Each has tradeoffs. And most professionals over-rely on the two or three that come most naturally, leaving the others underdeveloped. That gap is where blind spots live.

"You don't get better judgment by thinking harder. You get better judgment by thinking differently."

Choose Your Path

How deep do you want to go?

Either way: Your results are saved as you go, so you can pause and resume anytime. Nothing is shared with anyone unless you choose to share it.

Analytical Thinking

How often do you do each of these?

Analytical Thinking

Breaking complex problems into parts. Validating with evidence. Distinguishing correlation from causation.

For each statement, choose how often it describes you. Be honest. The value comes from accuracy, not from looking balanced.

Decision Scenarios

Real situations. Rank what you'd actually do.

For each scenario, rank the four options from 1st (your go-to) to 4th (least likely). Each rank can only be used once per scenario.
