Our Communicating and Storytelling with Data course empowers professionals to turn data into engaging, persuasive stories that drive understanding and action. Participants will learn to combine narrative structure, key insights, and impactful visualizations to make data more accessible and memorable for any audience.
Four weeks, with a weekly 60 - 90 minute session per week, totaling 5-6 hours of instruction plus optional hands-on activities. Students who cannot make the live session can watch the recording of it afterwards.
The course is administered through a learning management system. Each week there is a live session for approximately 60—90 minutes which is delivered via Zoom. It will be recorded and posted in the course on the LMS afterwards for those who cannot attend live or who want to revisit the session. The LMS will also include optional hands-on activities, discussion forums, supplemental reading and activities, as well as weekly 5-10 question knowledge checks (optional).
