Master the Art of Data Visualization for Clearer Communication and Better Decisions
In today’s data-driven world, the ability to create and interpret visualizations is a critical skill. Our Creating and Interpreting Data Visualizations Fundamentals course equips professionals with the essential techniques needed to visualize data effectively and interpret visualizations with confidence. Through foundational concepts and hands-on exercises, participants will learn how to choose the right visualizations, apply design principles, and accurately interpret data to avoid common pitfalls.
Four weeks, with a weekly 60 - 90 minute session per week, totaling 5-6 hours of instruction plus optional hands-on activities. Students who cannot make the live session can watch the recording of it afterwards.
The course is administered through a learning management system. Each week there is a live session for approximately 60—90 minutes which is delivered via Zoom. It will be recorded and posted in the course on the LMS afterwards for those who cannot attend live or who want to revisit the session. The LMS will also include optional hands-on activities, discussion forums, supplemental reading and activities, as well as weekly 5-10 question knowledge checks (optional).
